Day 1Cape Town

Arrive in Cape Town, magical and diverse city. Take a city tour to discover the layout of the city. Take the cable car up Table Mountain to discover a stunning view of the Bay and the City. Check in at your hotel for 3 nights, located in Town, Camps bay or V&A Waterfront.

Day 2Cape Town & Surrounds

Visit the historical center : the Malay area Bo-Kaap, the Companys gardens, the Castle of Good Hope… Discover the V&A Waterfront, formerly a harbour transformed into a top notch leisure and shopping area Visit the Kirtenbosch Botanical gardens.

Day 3The Cape Peninsula

En route for the Cape Peninsula : its pristine beaches and small coastal towns like Hout Bay, Muizenberg, Fish Hoek, Noordhoek…After the famous coastal road on the cliff : Chapman’s Peak, arrive at the Cape of good Hope Nature reserve, walk to the lighthouse,it is possible to do a short hike on top of the cliffs. On the way back, drive through the East shore and its charming villages, stop at the Boulders Beach to discover the Cape penguins colony

Winelands Tour

Day 4The Wine Route

Leave Cape Town and head to the Winelands, 50km from Cape Town. Visit Stellenbosch, founded in 1879. Numerous wine Estate are to be found close to the city centre, taste some of best South african wines ! Your road takes you to the Paarl and Franschhoek valley. in Paarl , founded in 1720, visit the biggest cellar in the world : the KWV cooperative created in 1918 to face the overproduction. The scenic valley of Franschhoek, the ‘French corner’, visit the Huguenots museum, who fled France in 1688. A lot of exquisite wine estate are situated along the road to do a wine tasting, have lunch or dinner. Some very reputable restaurants are hosted by the Estates. Overnight in a guesthouse in the winelands.

Hermanus Tour

Day 5Wine Route, Swellendam

You will be leaving the winelands via the Franschhoek pass and cross the Overberg region to reach Hermanus, coastal town famous for the Humpack Whales who come to breed every year between August and October. Enjoy this beautiful and wild coast and discover the Gans Bay/Stanford area, where 2 oceans meet. The southernmost tip of Africa is in Cape Agulhas). Overnight in Swellendam.

Garden Route Tour

Day 6Swellendam, Knysna or Plettenberg Bay

You hop on the famous ‘Garden Route’. Stop in Mossel Bay, where the explorer Bartolomeu Diaz arrived in 1488. Arrive in Knysna or Plettenberg Bay (30km distance), 2 of the South Africans favorite coastal towns of the Garden Route. Knysna is situated along a beautiful lagoon opening onto the Oceans at the ‘Heads’. Magnificent golf courses. Plettenberg Bay offers amazing beaches and the Robberg nature Reserve.

Day 7Knysna / Plettenberg Bay

Enjoy the day around the numerous beaches and attractions of the area (cruises, dolphin encounter, elephant park, shopping etc).

Robberg Tour

Day 8Knysna / Plettenberg Bay

Road to Port Elizabeth (Gqeberha) (250km) via the Tsitsikamma forest and the famous surfing town of Jeffreys Bay. An extra hour on the road will take you to your Private game reserve (malaria free). Check in at your Lodge for 2 nights. Afternoon Safari with your Ranger in a 4×4, will you be lucky enough to spot the Big 5? Dinner and Overnight at the Lodge.

Enjoy a last morning safari before being transferred to Gqeberha airport. Flight to Cape Town or Johannesburg and connecting flight overseas.
